| The Peace and Conflict Journalism Network PECOJON has once again visited Mindanao to conduct series of trainings and seminars about Peace and Conflict Journalism. At least twenty five journalists from different places in Mindanao converged in Malasag Eco-Tourism Village, Cagayan de Oro City which lasted for three days of rigid trainings and workshops in handling conflicts and its journalistic aspects. Several trainings were already being conducted by PECOJON in the different parts of the Philippines and now it’s on their third time here in Mindanao. It must be remembered that PECOJON's first Mindanao training was held in Zamboanga City and followed by Davao City. This is being done in order to enhance the journalists' capacity to cover events in a more truthful and responsible way of reporting. | |
